01
Preparing Materials
Prepare | Perfume Base, Fragrance Oil, Ekko 30ml Bottle, Scale, Glass Rod, Glass Beaker, Liquid Dye (Water Solubel), Wood Pick
02
Sterilizing
We recommend to lightly wash Beaker, and Glass Bottle using ethanol or perfume base before use.
03
Scaling Perfume Base
In making a perfume, fragrance oil can be mixed up to about 15%. Perfume base weighs about 26g per 30ml perfume glass bottle. (We weighed 26g generously in consideration of the loss caused by the transfer)
04
Measuring Fragrance Oil
Percentage of fragrance oil in a perfume is about 15%, which is about 4.5g based on 30ml glass bottle. (Use unit 1g scaleto add 4g for convenience.) If you are making large quantity of perfume, it is a good idea to use a larger beaker to weigh in large proportions at once.
**Please refer to product description of each fragrance oils as the maximum percentage of mixing oils to perfume base may varies according to oils.
05
Adding a color on perfume
Add water soluble liquid dye on the perfume carefully by using a toothpick. Please add little only for the first time to see how color is, and then add and add carefully until the color matches your preference. Please consider that the fragrance oil itself has a color. It will be helpful distinguish the different types of scents by coloring in different colors. (Depending on your preference, you can skip the process of creating a color.)
06
Mixing(Ripening)
Stir well about a minute by using a glass rod. Making procedure is done. The perfume you have just finished might feel a lot of alcohol. It is recommended to leave it in a closed container for about two weeks in order to be a soft, mature and stable scent. While on leaving the perfume for two weeks, please stir it once every day and it will be soft for a more gentle aroma.
** The perfume base contains a number of chemical supplementary ingredients such as a UV block, and they may rarely cause some precipitates over time. There may be variations depending on the scents, and it is not a foreign substance. However, please filter one time about a week later after mixing perfume base and scent if you want to make the perfume completely clearn. And then, it is ready to be bottled in the perfume bottle.
07
Filling in the Empty Perfume Bottle
If you skip the procedure of keeping the mixture in a container for two week, you can directly pour the perfume into the empty perfume bottle, though it is recommended to use the perfume about a week or two weeks later. If it is hard to pour due to narrow neck of the bottle, it will be helpful to use a pipette or a funnel.
08
Matching the Spray Length
Cut the spray nozzle to match the length of the bottle. Cut it into a diagonal line slightly longer than the floor, relative to the shoulder line of the actual inner part of bottle, so it can be used reliably until the end.
09
Fixing the Sprayer
Fix the sprayer by using CW Spray Tool. It can be easily fixed by placing the tool in the center and applying force from above.
10
Labeling
Attach a label that matches neat with the bottle.
11
Packing
Package the perfume by using the exclusive package box and finish with ribbons and labels, etc.
