Need to prepare

Prepare | White Beeswax Pellets 90g, Nature Wax C-3 Soy Wax 135g, Pigment Chips (Yellow and orange color), Base Oil 24g (Yuza Base, Lime Basil & Mandarin, Grapefruit Oil Florida 8g each), 3.4oz Italy Glass, Hard Case Gift Box 3-Cavities (Dark Gray), Three Pretabbed #1 Smokeless Wicks, Gold Text Transfer, Electronic Scale, Glass Rod, Electronic Hot Plate, Thermometer, Glue Dots (Sheet), Two Stainless Measure Cup 200ml

Melting Beeswax

You need about 30g of wax to make one large tangerine mold. Please melt the wax you've already measured.
(For making three tangerine candles should be melted 90g of beeswax.)

Coloring

Add little yellow and red pigment chips to a fully melted wax(90g) to create a tangerine color.

Blending Fragrance Oil

When the colored wax reaches 85~90℃, add 3g of base oil and mix it.
(Fragrance used for DIY: Yuza Base, Lime Basil & Mandarin/Tangerine oil california, Grapefruit Oil Florida)

** Mix 3 fragrances in the same way.

Pouring into the Mold

Use a heat tool to heat the inside of the silicon mold.
Pour the wax mixed with the fragrance into the silicone mold when the wax temperature is around 80 to 85℃.

Making a Wick Hole

When the wax's surface in the tangerine molds has somewhat become hard, the back of the wood pick used it for coloring to create a wick hole.
Turn the wood pick slightly to the left and right to prevent the wood pick and wax from becoming hard together. Widen the wick hole so the wick can enter the hole nicely.

Demolding

Demolding the completely hardened tangerine candles from the silicone mold.

Melting Soy Wax

Melt about 45g of Nature Wax C-3 Soy Wax that should be put in the 3.4oz Italy Glass while the tangerine candles become hard.
(For making three container candles should be melted 135g of beeswax.)

Fixing Wick & Wick Tab

While melting the wax, wipe the inside of the candle container with paper towels. And secure the wick on the bottom of the candle container using the wick tab sticker.

Blending Fragrance Oil

Divide the completely melted wax by 45g, and mix 5g of fragrance oil when the wax temperature reaches about 65~70℃.

Pouring Wax into a Mold

Heat the candle container inside slightly with a heat tool and pour 50g of the wax mixed with fragrance oil.

** We recommend securing the wick in advance, then pour the wax.

Assembling Tangerine Candle

Using a heat tool, melt the candle's surface slightly to make wax evenly, and place the tangerine candle in the wick to decorate the center.

Decorating the Tangerine Candle

It is also good to decorate the tangerine candle with a fresh feeling by putting Preserved Eucalyptus Parvifolia leaves between the wick hole and the wick of the tangerine candle.

Labeling

Decorate the completed candles with a transparent label or transfer paper.
(We used Gold Text Transfer in this picture.)

Tip.

How to use transcription paper

1. Cut out the transcription paper for the part you want to use.
2. Remove the transparent film and attach the transcription paper to the candle's surface to the position you want to attach.
3. Moisten the back of the transcription paper slightly with a sprayer.
4. After attaching it, push up or down lightly the back of the transcription paper.
