Gradation Flower Tealight Candle Making
Candle
Gradient Tealight Candlein Fresh Spring Color
On a bright spring day when petals are flying,
make Tealight Candles that resemble cherry blossoms, a representative spring flower.
Red Oil-Soluble Liquid Dye is used to express a gradation color that gradually deepens from light pink.
Add the Cherry Blossom scent of cherry blossom leaves swaying
in the spring breeze to capture the atmosphere of spring.
01
Need to Prepare
CW Coconut Blend Wax (for Container) 80g, PC Flower Tealight Cup, PC Round Color Chip, Tealight Wicks (for Paraffin/Soy Wax), Cherry Blossom (L Type) Fragrance Oils, Red Liquid Dye (Oil Soluble), Wood Pick, Digital Electronic Scale, Glass Rod, Stainless Measure Cup 200ml, Infrared Digital Thermometer, Scent Record Label (Wide), Ivory Decorative Sheet, Clear Cover & White Tablet Box
02
Weighing and Melting the Wax
Melt 80g of CW Coconut Blend Wax. 20g of wax is used for 1 piece of PC Flower Tealight Cup.
As a standard for making a total of 4 balls, 80g wax will be used.
** General tea light candles are made using container wax, but using CW Coconut Blend Wax can give you a more distinct color and smooth surface.
03
Mixing Fragrance Oil
When the wax temperature is about 85℃, add 10% of the fragrance oil based on the wax volume and
stir well to mix the wax and oil well.
(In the photo, a total of 8g of Cherry Blossom Fragrance Oil was added based on 80g of wax.)
04
Subdividing Wax and Dye
Divide 20g of the wax mixed with the fragrance oil into a paper cup where the color can be easily seen and
add 1 drop of Oil-Soluble Liquid Dye to the PC Round Color Chip.
(Red Oil-Soluble Liquid Dye color was used.)
05
Create a Color Gradient
Based on 20g of wax, apply Red Oil-Soluble Liquid Dye placed on a circular color chip with a Color Wood Pick and
adjust the gradation density by adjusting the number of times the wax is touched.
* Graduation Ratio Creation Tips
Step 1 – Based on 20g of wax / Touch the front part of the wood pick (pointed part) once.
Step 2 - Based on 20g of wax / Touch the back of the wood pick (flat part) once.
Step 3 - Based on 20g of wax / Touch the back of the wood pick (flat part) 3 times.
Step 4 - Based on 20g of wax / Touch the back of the wood pick (flat part) 5 times.
** From step 2, use the back of the wood pick to express a darker color than in step 1.
(This is a numerical value for convenience to present a gradation production guide,
and the ratio may vary depending on the desired density and color.)

06
Pour Into a Tealight Cup
When the temperature of the toned wax is 75~80℃, pour it into the PC Flower Tealight Cup.
07
Inserting a Wick
Insert the wick when the edge of the Tea Light Cup surface hardens into translucency.
08
Packing
Put Ivory Paper in Clear Cover & White Tablet Box, and put the finished Tealight Candle withthe wick lying on its side to finish.
(In the photo, it was decorated with a cent record label (wide).)
