Measure fragrance oils

Using a 50 ml glass beaker, measure out 2.5 grams of fragrance oil (Ko Samui)(based on a 50 ml perfume glass)
Typical eau de parfum is made with a 10-15% fragrance load, If you are using an alcohol-free water perfume base,it is made with a maximum fragrance load of 5%.
* Depending on the characteristics of the fragrance, such as its aromaticity and viscosity, the mixing ratio may vary,so it is recommended to consult the IFRA documentation before mass production.

Metering liquid solubilizers

Place a 50 ml glass beaker with the fragrance oil on the balance and then Liquid Solubilizer (CW-S) 2.5 g.(2.5 g of fragrance oil + 2.5 g of liquid solubilizer)

Mixing solubilizers

Stir vigorously with a glass wand for at least 1 minute to ensure that the fragrance oil and liquid solubilizer are well mixed.

Because water fragrance bases are composed of water-based ingredients,
they must be emulsified when adding oil-based fragrance oils to them. This must be done to the fragrance first. Emulsify the fragrance oil and liquid solubilizer in a 1:1 ratio.
If you use the right naturally derived emulsifiers for your fragrance oils and the correct percentage of fragrance,
you can create a water-based perfume that doesn't separate.
However, if the emulsification process isn't perfect, the fragrance may separate.
In such cases, you can increase the amount of liquid solubilizer to a 1:2 ratio or consider using a different type of solubilizer.

* Because each fragrance oil has different properties, we recommend testing small batches before mass production.

** After launching the first fabric mist in Korea in July 2015, Candleworks introduced how to make fabric deodorant using liquid solubilizer to prevent oil layer separation.

Measuring a water perfume base

Using a new 100 ml glass beaker, measure out 45 g of clear water base. (Based on a 50 ml perfume glass, minus 2.5 g of fragrance and 2.5 g of liquid solubilizer.)

* Perfume bases and fragrance oils have different specific gravities of water (the relative ratio to the density of the substance they are based on), so when converted to g, the unit of weight, ml may differ from ml.

** Water perfume bases are fully formulated with both UV stabilizers and antioxidants to protect fragrances that are vulnerable to light and oxidation. Because they are water-based, they also contain microbial inhibitors that are safe for cosmetic use on the skin to prevent microbial growth (not typical preservatives).
*** The water base has been hypoallergenic tested by the OATC Skin Clinical Testing Center, with an irritation index of 0.03.

Add a water-soluble liquid dye

Add a small amount of violet water-soluble liquid dye to the white water base to tint it to the desired color.

Metallic allows for easy cleanup after use by releasing the deeply colored dye.

Mix the water perfume base

To the 100ml glass beaker containing the water base, add half of the fragrance oil and liquid solubilizer mixed in the 50ml glass beaker beforehand, mix thoroughly, and then add the other half.
'White Water Base' is a clear suspension liquid, which can be used for a perfume concept that expresses a soft and milky feeling. You can choose according to your taste and perfume concept.

Bottling perfume in glass & securing sprays

Using a mini funnel, steadily pour the finished perfume into a glass of White Elysion 50 perfume.
Cut the spray nozzle diagonally, slightly longer than the bottom, based on the shoulder line of the perfume glass bottle.To fix the spray nozzle on the perfume glass, you can use the ‘Perfume Bottle Capping Machine 4 in 1’ for easy fixation.
If you are using the CW Spray Tool, you can secure it by aligning the spray rim line with the perfume opening and applying palm pressure from above.

Labeling

Decorate the finished perfume with labels and finish with special perfume packaging boxes and ribbons.
