Making a non-alcoholic diffuser

We'll also provide the recommended formula for the fragrance base and the ideal ratio of scent to alcohol-free base, based on a 100ml container.

Measuring the Alcohol-Free Diffuser Base

* Before using a glass container (such as a beaker or diffuser glass), clean it with the diffuser base or 99% ethanol. If cleaned with water, the container may become cloudy when the oil is added.

The ratio of diffuser base to fragrance is 7:3, but it can also be adjusted to 3:1 or 2:1, depending on the desired fragrance strength.
Place a 250ml glass beaker on a precision scale, adjust the tare weight, and add 70g of alcohol-free diffuser base. (Based on a 100ml diffuser glass.)
The newly released ‘Alcohol-Free Diffuser Base’ is a premium material used in Europe and the U.S. that contains no ethanol, offering superior diffusion power. It evenly disperses the fragrance throughout the room and does not evaporate as quickly as ethanol-based diffusers. (Expected release: April 30, 2025)
** Since the specific gravity of the diffuser base and oil differs from that of water (the relative density of the base substance), the weight in grams (g) will differ from the measurement in milliliters (ml). For accurate measurement in grams, test with a sample and adjust accordingly.

Perfumes Measuring the base

Place a 50ml glass beaker on the precision scale, adjust the tare weight, and measure and add the fragrance base ingredients accordingly.

The Rhubarb and Hyacinth bases create a fresh yet soft harmony, offering a fragrant and elegant scent.
Adding the Ambrette Base enhances the longevity of the fragrance, completing a subtly sweet floral aroma that lingers without being overwhelming.
** Tip) Soft Woody Fragrance Coupling Formula (Based on a total fragrance of 30g)
Mint Base 10% (3g measured), Petitgrain Base 20% (6g measured), Basil Base 30% (9g measured), Guaiac Wood Base 40% (12g measured)
A refreshing and natural woody note serves as the foundation, providing a smooth, light scent without being overpowering. The overall fragrance blends woody undertones with herbal notes, capturing the soothing and grounding essence of nature.

Mixing

Using a glass stirrer, gently mix the alcohol-free diffuser base and the fragrance base for about one minute to ensure they blend well. The alcohol-free diffuser base has little to no inherent scent, allowing the true character of the fragrance to shine through. It offers excellent compatibility with both natural and synthetic fragrance ingredients.

Pouring into the Container

Use a mini funnel to carefully pour the finished alcohol-free diffuser base into a 100ml Orb diffuser glass container.

Styling

Finish by adding a label that complements the container.When using the diffuser, trim the sticks to match the height of the container for a clean, balanced look.*In the photos, the Black Dispace Label (Small) is used, along with Black Diffuser Fiber Sticks (4mm x 25cm).
