Davana
Dried Fruit, Apricot, Ripe
Davana essential oil is a natural oil with a warm and deeply ripe fruit fragrance.
It blends fresh and ripe strawberry, apricot, raisin, and herbal scents.
It can be blended when creating fruity floral natural perfumes, such as with magnolia and plumeria.
After the fruity aroma dissipates, it leaves a lingering resinous scent.
It is also used to add fruity nuances to chypre and fougère natural perfumes.
The characteristics of CW Davana Natural Essential Oil
Davana essential oil is primarily extracted through steam distillation of the foliage and plant parts of Artemisia Pallens, a herbaceous plant mainly found in southern India. Its green leaves are covered with soft grayish hairs, and it produces fragrant and beautiful yellow flowers. After the flowers fully bloom in late summer, the leaves and stems are harvested and undergo a drying process for about a week before distillation. Due to its delicate nature, utmost care is required during harvesting to maintain the quality of its fragrance.
