Galbanum
Fresh, Earthy, Green, Rooty
Galbanum is a representative essential oil of natural green notes.
When added to floral notes, it enhances the cool greenness of natural leaves.
Galbanum oil is extremely concentrated, so it should be used in very small amounts,
and even when testing, dilution should be extensive to experience its natural feel.
Characteristics of CW Galbanum Natural Essential Oil
Galbanum (Ferula Galbaniflua) is a plant native to the Middle East and is a representative fragrance of green notes.
Galbanum's exudate is thick like tar, from which Galbanum oil and Galbanum resinoid are produced. The root part of Galbanum, which rises above the black earth, is incised with a knife for harvesting. Galbanum oil is obtained by steam distillation of the tar and is a yellow liquid with a greenish hue and a slightly spicy scent. Galbanum resinoid is produced by extracting the tar with a non-polar solvent. CW handles Galbanum Natural Essential Oil.
