Clary Sage is an invaluable natural ingredient in the history of perfumery.

The lingering scent is slightly powdery, with base notes that include the aroma of hay and a hint of tobacco.

The characteristics of CW Clary Sage Natural Essential Oil

Clary Sage is a wild plant native to Southern Europe and Central Asia. This aromatic herb, when crushed, emits a fresh yet sweet scent reminiscent of honey and musk. The stems of the herb are harvested and left in the field to dry before the dried material is distilled to produce essential oil. The resulting liquid ranges from pale yellow to yellow and carries a fresh herbal scent with a bouquet similar to wine. After the volatile fragrance components evaporate, a hint of ambergris note becomes apparent, due to the oxidation of sclareol. CW offers Clary Sage oil produced in small quantities from Provence.

- Avoid inhalation of the undiluted product and direct skin contact, always keeping the container tightly closed during storage.
- Store out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not use at concentrations higher than recommended for dilution.
