This kit contains 12 perfumery ingredients in the Woody fragrance family.

To better highlight the unique character of each material, scents that were previously grouped under different notes have been reorganized and reclassified into their original note kits.

CW perfumery bases are designed as “single-note” materials, representing a clear reference point for each scent.
They can be blended with natural ingredients and other perfumery bases,
or added to fragrance oils to impart a unique character to existing scents.
This kit is suitable not only for beginners in perfumery but also for instructors conducting perfumery classes in studios.

The Perfumery Atlas, meaning ‘a book that maps the world of scents,’ is designed to be a trusted guide for those seeking to explore the vast realm of fragrance and discover their own path in perfumery just as a map leads the way through unfamiliar destinations.

Point 1. Product Composition

The Woody Perfumer’s Atlas Kit is composed of 12 perfumery bases from the WOODY NOTES family. Centered on woody accords such as sandalwood, guaiacwood, cedarwood, patchouli, oak, and birch tar, it offers a deep and balanced scent. Primarily used as base notes, these fragrances blend harmoniously with floral, spicy, and balsamic notes, creating a natural and rich aroma reminiscent of forests, wood, and earthy undertones.

Point 2. Convenient and Stylish Packaging

The kit’s design reflects the image of each fragrance family through color, making it easy to distinguish the kits at a glance. With the change in kit quantity from 16 to 12, the package size has also been adjusted accordingly. The internal tray is designed for convenience, allowing you to remove perfumery bases for smelling and blending, then easily reorganize them by fragrance family. A sturdy hard case ensures durability and easy storage. Please note that there may be slight looseness between the tray and the package cover, so handle with care when opening.

Point 3. Undiluted Raw Materials

All perfumery bases sold by CW are undiluted, pure raw materials.
The scent of a perfumery ingredient in its pure form differs from that of a diluted version, both in aroma and volatility.
While some training programs use ingredients diluted to a certain ratio for olfactory practice, creating your own formulas and applying them to actual blends requires extensive practice with undiluted raw materials.
For this reason, the kit is composed entirely of undiluted perfumery bases, providing greater value for serious perfumers.

Point 4. Perfumery Guide Leaflet
A leaflet is included in the package, summarizing the 144 scents across the Aromatic, Green, Citrus, Fruity, Floral, Spicy, Woody, Balsamic, Animalic, and Modern fragrance kits, organized by top, middle, and base notes along with
the olfactory impressions of each scent. This intuitive one-page reference allows perfumers to quickly access information that might otherwise be confusing during the creation process, supporting more accurate and efficient fragrance development.

Please pay attention to the following when using this product as a highly concentrated perfumery fragrance.

- It is a highly concentrated, undiluted product, so it is not recommended for those sensitive to fragrances to handle it directly.
- If it is in contact with soft plastics, paints, oils, etc., that have no chemical resistance for a certain period, the part may be damaged.
- Products such as plaster air fresheners or perfume tags must not come in direct contact with other objects, and use tools such as clips or pockets to keep an appropriate distance.
- Depending on the individual, it may cause a headache or itching in the eyes.
- Provide adequate ventilation after training and work.
- Avoid inhaling the undiluted solution for a long time or never touching the skin, and always keep the lid closed.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not use more than the recommended dilution amount.
- Avoid direct sunlight and fire.

Exchange and Refund Information

Fragrances, Natural oils, and Fragrance Ingredients may smell differently to each individual or may not suit a customer's preference, and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged, even if unused.

We do not sell returned products to others for the sake of the purity of the oil.
Because it is manufactured to fit the bases sold by CW (perfume base, diffuser base, etc.), there may be unexpected incompatibility when used with other products, and exchange or return is not possible.

Inspection Information

When using the sample for safety confirmation of living chemical products (formerly, KC certification), the detection criteria may vary depending on the storage period and environment.

Therefore, it is recommended to use the product within 6 months for optimal use.

WHAT is a BASE?

What is a BASE Fragrance?
CW's fragrance oils are each composed of unique notes that blend harmoniously together. For example, “Wedding Day” contains notes of bergamot, muguet lily, jasmine, velvet rose, violet petal, soft woods, and musk. The ingredients that have individual notes, such as “jasmine” and “musk,” are called “base fragrances” in CW and can be used to create more original scents.

Base fragrances are made from a blend of synthetic ingredients and some natural oils, and are designed to be safe for use in cosmetics, candles, perfumes, and more. Adding base fragrances to your existing fragrance oils can give them a more personalized touch, and you can easily create your own original fragrance by combining 3 to 10 base fragrances in the right ratio. CW's base fragrances are made by dissolving powdered raw materials with minimal solvents, providing a high-quality fragrance.

When creating base fragrances, CW focuses on two main criteria.

1. Versatility as a fragrance ingredient: Developed for use in a wide range of fragrance combinations.
2. standard base fragrance: Designed to serve as a reference base for perfumers, rather than representing a specific brand or variation.

For example, the 'Musk' scent is not a specific brand's identity, but rather a standard musk scent that perfumers use as a reference. This is to help those new to perfumery understand the properties of the base ingredients. These base scents can be useful at various stages of perfumery, from beginner to expert.

For first-time DIYers, using 'fragrance oils' is an easy and effective way to get started, and for instructors, we recommend using CW base scents as part of your class materials when teaching in the workshop. We also highly recommend that those new to fragrance try CW's base scents, which are the standard in the field.
