Cedarwood Virginia oil has a very mild and sweet woody note.
It has a distinctive cedar scent, similar to the unique smell of freshly sharpened pencil lead.
Cedarwood is frequently used in women's perfumes recently due to its scent similar to the female pheromone (Estrogen).
It is widely loved as a representative woody note in niche perfumes such as Serge Lutens, Frederic Malle, and Byredo.
The fragrance goes very well with wooden furniture, so it can also be used as a sachet placed in drawers or wardrobes.

The characteristics of CW Cedarwood Virginiana Natural Essential Oil

Cedarwood essential oil is mainly produced in the United States. While Cedarwood Texas from Texas is the mainstream, Virginia Cedarwood, also known as Eastern Red Cedar, is exclusively produced in the southeastern United States. Although its production is about six times less than that of Cedarwood Texas, it is recognized as less irritating and of higher quality in perfumes. It has a warm, pencil-shaving reminiscent woody scent. Virginia Cedarwood oil is produced by steam distilling the logs and wood chips of the Juniperus Virginiana species. The oil, which has a light yellow color and slight viscosity, becomes more sweet amber-woody with age.
