Using Gel Wax to Create Cherry Blossom Flowers
02-1. Measuring Gel WaxYou will need 3 grams of clear gel wax Super HP to make 1 cherry blossom.
If you're only making 6 cherry blossoms, measure out 20 grams of wax.
* The amount of gel wax can be fluid depending on the size of your container,
and it will harden as you use it, so it's best to be generous.
02-2. Color MatchingFrom the melted Super HP Gel Wax, add the amount needed for coloring to create the cherry blossom color.
Tint a very fine amount of magenta (pink) oil-soluble liquid dye with a metallic pick when the temperature is between 110 and 120 degrees Celsius.
02-3. Pouring the Wax
Heat the cherry blossom silicone mold with a heat tool and fill it 2/3 full with clear gel wax
when the wax temperature is 100-120 degrees Celsius.
Use a heat tool to keep the clear gel wax at a high temperature,
then fill the mold with the cherry blossom-colored gel wax right to the top.
The gel wax hardens quickly, so you need to keep the temperature high to blend the colors well.
02-4. Finishing the Gel Wax Cherry Blossom Flower
Once the wax has cooled and completely hardened, remove the form from the silicone mold.
03
Using Soy Wax to Create a Cherry Blossom Scent Base
03-1. Measuring WaxMeasure out and melt approximately 30 grams (based on making 3) of the Golden Wax 464 soy wax for the container.
The amount to be used for the base of one glass tealight holder (large), 1 cm above the bottom, is 8.7 grams.
03-2. Add a Fragrance Oil
When the temperature of the melted wax is around 75-80℃, add about 3 grams of fragrance oil, which is 10% of 30 grams of wax, and stir well.
* In the photo, we used the fragrance oil Cherry Blossom scent.
03-3. Pour Into a Container
When the wax temperature is 70-75℃, pour it into the container. When the wax starts to harden halfway, insert a 4 cm Tealight Wicks (for Gel/Palm Wax) into the center.
Allow the base soy wax to harden completely.
04
Using Gel Wax to Create Cherry Blossom Colors
04-1. Preparing the Gel Wax Measure out and melt approximately 35 grams (based on making 3) of Gel Wax HP.The amount to be used for the base of 1 glass tealight holder (large), located 0.5 cm above the bottom, is 11.3 grams.
* The amount of gel wax can be fluid depending on the size of your container,
and it will harden as you use it, so it's best to be generous.
04-2. Tinting Cherry Blossom Colors
Add a small amount of magenta (pink) oil-soluble liquid dye to the metallic at a temperature of about 120 ℃ to create the desired cherry blossom color.
04-3. Pour Over The Soy Wax
Pour the gel wax over the fully hardened soy wax when the temperature of the gel wax is around 110-120 degrees Celsius.
05
Complete the Cherry Blossom Tealight Candle
After the gel candle has hardened, add the cherry blossom flower and let it harden completely to create the cherry blossom tealight candle. You can decorate the candle with the Preserved Mini Mist Two-Tone (White Rose), White, etc. to make it even more beautiful.
06
Packaging
Place the ivory paper in a clear white tablet packaging box and finish with the finished cherry blossom tealight gel candle.* In the photo, I decorated with the Blooming Label - Blossom.
