Rose Absolute is a natural ingredient obtained by solvent extraction of roses.
It has a subtly lingering rose fragrance and is used as a high-end perfume ingredient.
Rose Absolute has a deep and rich orange to reddish color,
and it is commonly used in natural perfumes in combinations such as rose-geranium and rose-sandalwood."

The characteristics of CW Rose Absolute Natural Essential Oil

Rose Absolute refers to the extraction of rose scent through solvent extraction method.
Typically, Rosa Centifolia variety of roses are used to produce Rose Absolute through solvent extraction,
while Rosa Damascena variety is steam distilled to produce Rose Otto.
However, CW is unique in using solvent extraction method for Rosa Damascena variety.
Rose Absolute contains a much higher concentration of Phenethyl Alcohol compared to Rose Otto,
as the water-soluble Phenethyl Alcohol gets dissolved in rose water during steam distillation.
Rose Absolute has a richer and more voluminous heart note compared to Rose Otto, making it preferred as a fragrance ingredient.
