Ginger
Warm, Spicy, Earthy, Woody
The initial impression of ginger scent resembles coriander blended with lemon or orange, and it's characterized by its strong aroma.
It also has a warm, spicy, sweet, and heavy undertone of ginger root.
Ginger oil blends well with rosewood, cedarwood, coriander, rose, neroli, and most citrus scents,
but due to its very strong concentration, it should be used with caution in very small amounts.
Characteristics of CW Ginger Natural Essential Oil
Ginger oil is obtained by steam distillation of fresh or dried ginger roots of Zingiber officinale. The scent varies greatly depending on the quality of the raw material and the drying condition. When distilled from fresh roots, it has a lighter and fresher scent, while when distilled from dried roots, it has a more earthy and dry scent. Major producers of ginger oil include China and India.
