Point 1. Product Composition
This is an 8.5 oz matte white French glass that is approximately 7.5 cm in diameter and 9 cm high.

Point 2. The difference in details
French glass is sturdier than Chinese glass containers, with a thin, smoothly rounded bottom and a luxurious finish.
Point 3. Compare equal capacity glasses
Same capacity and design as the 8.5 oz French glass tumbler, but in a sleek matte white color. The 8.5 oz French glass is high quality as it's used by top brands like Diptyque, Memo, Healy, and more.
Unlike its Chinese counterparts, the surface is not treated with hydrofluoric acid solution and the glass is lightly ground using an organic process, making it a high-quality product that can be used for food.
Point 4. Compare container sizes
You can compare the size and proportions of frosted glass lines and French glass.
The matte white French glass is available in an 8.5 oz size.

How to Create a Container Candle
make 1. Measuring wax
Decide on a container to make your candle in and measure out your wax.(In the photo, we measured out about 140 grams of wax based on a 7 oz container.)
make 2. Melting the wax
make 3.Organize containers
While the wax is melting, wash the prepared container with warm water, dry it off, and use a paper towel to remove any dust from the inside once more.
make 4. Securing the wick
Use a wick tab sticker to secure the wick tab to the center of the bottom of the container.
make 5. Measure fragrance oils
Fragrance oils are measured at approximately 10% when making container candles. Based on 140 grams of wax, add 14 grams. Add the fragrance oil between 55 and 60 degrees below the temperature of the wax.
(You can add it at higher temperatures, but this is to maximize the fragrance oil's aroma without breaking the fragrance. You can adjust the ratio to be less or more than the standard depending on the volatility, heat resistance, and viscosity of the fragrance, and you should adjust the mixing temperature to match the characteristics of each wax).
make 6. Mixing fragrance oils
Stir thoroughly for 1 minute to combine the fragrance oil and wax. Stir at a steady pace, preferably in a figure eight pattern, as stirring too fast can cause air bubbles.
make 7. Pour into a container
Pour the wax into a container between 55 and 60 degrees. Pour with about 1 centimeter of headspace from the top.
make 8. Secondary Pour
When the candle is properly hardened, you may notice indentations or an uneven surface along the wick's circumference. Poke around the wick to release any air bubbles that may have formed inside and pour out the remaining wax at about 60 degrees.
(The heat of the wax will melt the surface and allow you to work evenly).
make 9. Organize the wick
After the candle has completely hardened, trim the wick from the wax, leaving a length of 3-4 mm. (Longer wicks will cause sooting when burning, so always keep the wick length at 3-4 mm, even after use).
make 10. Packaging
Label the candle to match the scent and finish with a reed. If you're gifting, package it using a dedicated box for each size.
